A beacon of hope and charity inspired by the life and spirit of Madelynn, who was known for her caring nature and radiant smile. As we build this foundation, we are dedicated to honoring her memory by supporting individuals in their physical and emotional growth.
OUR MISSION
The LIVE LIKE MADELYNN Foundation is committed to providing individuals with opportunities for enrichment through engaging events, acts of kindness, and unwavering community support. Madelynn's legacy of caring and her dream of becoming a nurse inspire our mission to help those in need.
OUR GOAL
Our primary goal is to keep Madelynn's spirit alive by embodying her kindness and generosity. We aim to impact lives positively, reflecting the love and compassion Madelynn shared with everyone she met.

A day that changed our family forever. Our daughter, Madelynn Troutt, a 17 year old senior and varsity cheerleader at Butler Traditional High School was tragically taken from us. Madelynn had just finished her cheerleading practice at Butler and was taking her brother Peyton to work from baseball practice. He was a sophomore at Butler at the time. After she dropped Peyton off at Chick-Fil-A for his shift, Madelynn began her usual route home on Dixie Highway. It was not 5 minutes later that she would be hit head on by a wrong way, speeding, stolen truck. The driver of that truck was under the influence of drugs and alcohol. This man and his wreckless decision took Madelynn from our family. Madelynn was a daughter to Jeremy and Marcie, a sister to 2 younger brothers, Peyton and Nikolas. She was a granddaughter, niece and cousin. She was a girlfriend and a friend to so many.
Words to describe Madelynn, happy, loving and kind with the biggest heart. She had a bright future ahead of her and was excited for her next chapter in life. Madelynn enjoyed helping people and being there for others. She had plans to attend Bellarmine University in the fall of 2021 as a nursing student. Madelynn’s smile lit up a room and she continues to be the light in our lives and still making a difference. With her foundation we will continue her legacy by helping others in need in many ways.
